What is menu engineering?
Menu Engineering is the process of re-designing a restaurants menu, by placing the most profitable items in key positions.

Why should I redesign my menu?
Because your menu is your number one marketing tool! By keeping your menu fresh, you are more likely to increase profitability.

How often should I redesign my menu?
We recommend reprinting your menu 3-4 times a year. This allows you to make minor changes, such as price and item changes, without having to overhaul your entire menu.

Will a sales representative from Menu Designs travel to meet with me?
Possibly. If a sales rep is already in the area, they would be more than happy to stop in if time allows. However, it is not necessary with the resources we have access to. We can communicate via e-mail, phone, fax, web meetings and UPS/FedEx.

Can I reprint my menus myself if I need to make changes?
We do not recommend this. We have a program available online that will allow you to make your own price changes and print directly from the web. For more information on this program, please call 800-889-6368.  

I don’t want to pay for a custom design, what do you suggest I do?
Log on to the website, www.menudesigns.com, click full service print program, browse the menu templates available, and choose one that fits your restaurants ambiance. You will be charged a simple layout fee, but not the graphic design fee.

How long will it take to design and print my menu?
This depends on you. Once we receive the confirmed order and deposit, allow 5-7 days for first proof. Once proof is approved, allow 7-10 days for printing.
